The luxury Park Hyatt brand was named today as operator of Beijing-based Fu Wah International Group’s $200 million new hotel in Auckland’s waterfront Wynyard Quarter.
Hotel details were unveiled today at the state luncheon in Auckland for the visiting Chinese president, Xi Jinping.
The hotel will be built on the Team NZ site on Halsey St, looking across the Viaduct Basin. The 6-storey hotel will have a total floor area of 25,000m², 190 rooms, a ballroom, multifunction room & business centres, entertainment facilities including a rooftop restaurant, and a gym/health centre & day spa.
