Auckland Council’s planning committee opted on Tuesday for the slower course of accepting a plan change for a potential 1200 houses at Warkworth rather than adopting it.
11 of the 21 commercial properties auctioned by Bayleys yesterday in its third Total Property portfolio for the year were sold under the hammer.

Bayleys had a strong performance at its Total Property auction on Wednesday, selling 14 of the 23 properties on offer, including 4 of the 5 retail outlets in the new Grange development on the southern fringe of Warkworth.
In a mixture of commercial, residential & rural properties at Bayleys today, a residentially zoned property used commercially was withdrawn, one suburban residential unit was sold and another passed in, and the Mahurangi River winery, on 20ha midway between Warkworth & Snells Beach, was sold.
Bayleys finished its Total Property auction series for the year with 20 sales under the hammer on Wednesday from 34 properties offered, and a post-auction sale confirmed yesterday.
