Queensland auctioneer Jason Andrew became the Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ auctioneering champion on Wednesday, taking away a trophy New Zealand auctioneers have won for the past 3 years.
The championship was held at the Aotea Centre in Auckland this week and drew a field of 13 auctioneers representing each of the Australian states & territories and 2 New Zealand contenders, Chris Kennedy (Epic Realty Ltd, Harcourts, Dunedin) & Robert Tulp (Cooper & Co Real Estate Ltd, Harcourts, North Shore).
The runner-up was Damien Cooley from New South Wales.
